Francesca Quinzi is an Italian author and illustrator based in Germany. After graduating in Industrial Design, she worked as a graphic designer in Italy and Germany for several years. She first discovered her passion for making picture books in 2018 when she participated in a short illustration course at the Italian publishing house Curcio Editore. This led to the publication of “C’è Qualcuno Sopra il Tavolo,” her first work as an author and illustrator. She later pursued an MA in Graphic Storytelling at LUCA School of Arts to focus entirely on drawing and writing, graduating in June 2024 with honors. Francesca lives in Osnabrück, a small city in Germany, where she works as an illustrator and volunteers teaching art to kids.

Her work mainly focuses on memory, which she depicts by adopting various artistic techniques, such as gouache, pencil, colored pencils, and collaged elements, in a spontaneous, direct, and sometimes impulsive manner.
